I used to have a MacMini and used it as a media centre. However it wasn’t long before I realised that it was a pain in the bum to have to use a keyboard and mouse (it was pre the apple remote). Plus it wasn’t really ‘wife proof’. She basically wouldn’t use it.

So I recently got hold of a WD TV Live and have a network drive full of tv shows and movies. It works brilliantly and supports 1080p.

There’s been a lot of talk recently though about the Boxee Box (coming soon to DK). I’ve installed Boxee on my MacBook Pro and have to say that it’s a pretty slick interface. Really nice in fact. It recognised all the content on my network drive and even shows the artwork plus a synopsis of the film/show.

So even though I’m happy with what I’ve got, I’m tempted to get the Boxee Box when it comes out in the next few days!

I was wondering what is the equivalent for –rcfile option of bash in zsh? I.e., I want to load a different zshrc file of my choice…

this still works in BASH.

but zsh is a good choice, anyway.

I used your .zshrc and it didn’t work . Got these messages.

can’t find termcap info for screen [9]
bad option: -U [39]

Tillykke med dit nye domæne.

Jeg har også forsøgt at få fat i det, men du vandt over mig. Jeg forsøgte at købe det fra et af de hong Kong firmaer der hijackede det efter at Pro BMX’eren Jesper Rasmussen opgav domænet. De ville dog have det der svarede til omkring 9.000 kr. for at overdrage det. Ustyrligt! Så jeg takkede nej. Håber ikke du måtte betale prisen…

For some reason the line “EDITOR=emacs” slipped into your .zshrc file. :-D

A nice read I must say. Especially because I have heard you talk about the shell many a time, but I haven’t actually got around to trying/using it – I might just do that now.
